Eicher ‘Multix 24X7 Support’ program guarantees quick and stress-free breakdown services. Available at 3,500 locations across India it can be accessed through toll-free No. 1800 – 208 – 3775. It ensures that all authorized and trained service providers are equipped with right tools and vehicles to tackle all sorts of repairs. These personnel will attend to breakdowns of Multix personal utility vehicles either on site or tow the vehicle to the nearest service center.
Services offered on this program include wheel change with spare wheel, arrangement of fuel and opening of the vehicle in case of key lockout. It also covers repairs of all sorts of electrical problems which may be related to either battery or fuse and on the spot minor repairs. Anything major will have to be tackled at company workshops in which case service personnel will tow the vehicle to the nearest service center.
Eicher Polaris Multix is designed as a people carrier, goods carrier and also as a power generator. It comes in fitted with a power takeoff point which can generate power upto 3 KW and can be used for lighting homes or for powering a host of equipments. Interiors can be adapted to create loading space upto 1,918 liters or can be modified to seat a family while its large boot space cater to a variety of business requirements.
Fitted with a 510.7 cc diesel engine offering 9.8 bhp power at 3,000 rpm and 27.1 Nm torque at 1,400 to 2,200 rpm, the Eicher Multix boasts of mileage of 28.45 kmpl, has ground clearance of 225mm and kerb weight of 750 kgs. The utility vehicle that is offered in two variants is priced between INR 2.32 lakhs and INR 2.70 lakhs.
