San Antonio allows NEVs on most city streets

The city council of San Antonio, TX approved a new ordinance May 9 to allow neighborhood electric vehicles (NEV) access to all city streets with speed limits below 35 mph. These low-speed vehicles (LSV) had previously been restricted to private streets or gated communities. The city is hoping to reduce air and noise pollution by encouraging use of the vehicles.
